LG's DRD-8160B is a good choice for any consumer looking to add a DVD-ROM drive to their computer. The drive can read most CD and DVD formats and includes a lot of great features including SPDIF outputs. The drive is also very good at reading both pressed and CD-R media and in addition, the drive did very well in our scratched and dirty CD test.
